Founded in Glasgow, Scotland in January 2017 by a team of four dedicated taxi professionals, GLA Transfers quickly established itself as a trusted provider of private taxi transfers to airports, railway stations, and seaports throughout the UK. Our Evolution

As of August 2023, GLA Transfers has undergone a transition in ownership. While three of the original founders have moved on from the taxi trade, one founder remains actively involved as an owner of the business. The core values and dedication to customer satisfaction established by our founding team continue to drive our operations today. The same experienced team and skilled drivers operate under the GLA Transfers name, ensuring continuity and reliability in every journey you take with us.

In March 2026, GLA Transfers relocated to our new office at 300 Bath Street, Glasgow, as part of our continued growth and commitment to providing a reliable, professional service. While our location has changed, our focus remains the same – delivering high-quality, dependable transfers across Glasgow and beyond.

Who Runs GLA Transfers

GLA Transfers is owned and run day to day by Nick Capuano. Nick remains directly involved in customer service, booking support, driver coordination and the planning of airport taxi and private transfer journeys across Glasgow, Scotland and the wider UK.

Airport transfers depend on timing, communication and organisation, so Nick and the GLA Transfers operations team focus on the details that affect each journey: flight arrival times, luggage space, child seat requests, pickup instructions, route planning, customer communication and driver allocation.
